M18 x 1.5 Weld-In Bung for Lambda / O2 Sensor

Weld-in bung that creates a threaded port for a lambda or oxygen sensor where none exists. Suitable for exhaust pipe and flue applications. Standard M18 x 1.5 thread, fits the vast majority of lambda and O2 sensors.

Which option do I need?
Weld-in bung only — your exhaust or flue has no threaded port and the sensor stays fitted permanently.
Weld-in bung + blanking plug — the sensor will be removed at times and the port has to be closed gas-tight when it is out.

Fitting

Drill a hole to suit, then weld the bung around its full circumference. Screw the sensor in using anti-seize on the thread. Where possible mount the bung at 10° or more above horizontal so condensation cannot collect on the sensor tip.
